Final Front Cover And Second Page Local Newspaper

Here are my final front cover and second page of my local newspaper. From my feedback I am very pleased with how they have both turned out. I think I have used the conventions from local newspapers and a mix of tabloid and broadsheet newspapers well. Before beginning my newspaper in the planning and research stage, I decided I wanted to make my newspaper with mainly the elements of tabloid newspaper yet include some of the conventions of broadsheet, which I believe I have accomplished with the amount of text  I have written,  as in tabloid newspapers they normally consist of more images than text. I think when looking at the newspaper you can tell the newspaper is aimed towards a younger audience rather than the typical target audience of local newspapers which is adults and elderly people.

Editing And Final Radio Advertisement

I had recorded my radio advertisement using LogicPro, yet unfortunately the recording was deleted and I was unable to rerecord using this software as it was unavailable.

Instead I used a zoom recorder to record the voices, and Freesound.org to download the sound effects. I then added these to the Adobe Audition software to edit and put everything together.

Here is my final radio advertisement which I uploaded on soundcloud:

I am over all happy with my radio advertisement, I have had some feedback from my target audience and my teachers and I seemed to have a positive feedback from them.
